The Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for Climate Extremes is a major seven-year initiative that brings together five of [UTF-8?]Australia’s leading universities and a suite of national and international partners.

Our goal is to transform our understanding of past and present climate extremes and revolutionize our capability to predict them into the future.

We are seeking a diverse range of talented postdoctoral research associates to help us realise this vision. We currently have 14 positions available across our [UTF-8?]Centre’s universities in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Hobart. Learn more about the Centre at:

To succeed in one of these roles you will have a PhD, good quantitative skills, and expertise in a relevant field such as climate modelling, climate dynamics, physical oceanography, atmospheric science, hydrology, mathematics, etc.
