VIC input Parameters
« on: November 28, 2018, 04:55:50 PM »
Hi Everyone
I am confused about the VIC input parameters about (pressure)
I want to confirm either the VIC use the sea level pressure or air pressure  at station and Other thing is that I am using the JRA55 data set in this data set the pressure is low at high altitude and High in low altitude. On other hand in GCM the lowest pressure is in High altitude area and low pressure is in low altitude areas.please guide me . Thanks

What is the complete name of the parameter?

It might be atmospheric pressure.

The mean sea level pressure is generally considered the average atmospheric pressure and I recommend you to use the msl pressure.
